Wardrobe Internals Guide: What to Plan Before You Order

A practical checklist for hanging space, drawers, accessories, lofts and walk-in wardrobes.

Start With Inventory

Before choosing shutters, count what the wardrobe must hold. Long hanging, short hanging, folded clothes, bags, accessories, shoes, luggage and seasonal items all need different dimensions. A beautiful wardrobe with weak internals becomes frustrating very quickly.

Choose Drawers Carefully

Drawers are convenient but cost more than shelves. Use them where visibility and access matter most: daily wear, accessories, innerwear and smaller items. Deep drawers can become cluttered unless the internal layout is planned.

Lofts Need Discipline

Lofts add storage, but too much loft height can visually compress the room. Use them for suitcases and rarely used items, and keep shutter lines aligned so the wall remains calm.

Lighting Can Upgrade the Experience

Sensor lights, vertical LED channels or a dressing mirror light can make a wardrobe feel significantly more premium. They should be planned before production so wiring and channels stay concealed.
